The Route to Damascus
An artistically decorated caravan undertakes a journey from The Hague to Damascus in solidarity with the Syrian people. On its way to Damascus the caravan enters into a dialogue with Europeans as well as Syrians in diaspora on Syria at present and in the future. People will be able to leave their messages for Syria in the caravan. The caravan is to end its journey in a free Damascus where it will deliver these messages to the Syrians.
The caravan takes off on September 15th 2011 and is to conclude on March 15th 2012.
